The cliffs by Torrey Pines beach is where the glider port is where hang gliders run off the cliff to catch the updrafts then run parallel to the cliffs out and back and eventually landing again on the grass above the cliffs.
This is one of the pirate ships used in the Pirates of the Caribbean films.
